This weeks assignment for the concept art course I'm taking is about drawing props, and I started working on this sniper rifle:
I'm very pleased so far, especially considering I've never really drawn anything like it before. However, the difficult part of colouring and getting the lighting to seem authentic is still left. I'm no good at that.

You been getting your design principles for snipers from Borderlands then?
What, NO! D: I've just been taking inspiration from different real snipers, I've never even played Borderlands.
