Go throw yourself into the sea

Bloom everywhere, all the time.

This is what I get for helping my friends

Happy Birthday my olde friend.
It seems this horror show will never end.
Any moment's your last breath,
Here is to another day closer to death.

It's Adam's birthday today, and I remember I drew him the last time, so I might as well do it again. He's so much fun to draw anyways. He probably won't look here today, but when he does, he'll see I posted this on his birthday. And that's what counts.

Unrelated, here's also Jaimi.

But it's not her birthday.

A promise to myself to never be my own defeatist

Sylvia.

Avatar for Da Matt.

Sat around and got the urge to try and do a more realistic Leslie. I can't draw realistic, and I spent, like, 15 minutes on this (really), but it was kinda fun. Used a pic of Jonah Hill as reference for the basics, too. I need more time, and a photo reference I can actually reference FROM, if I'm gonna do something better though.

And I must admit that I feel sorry, disappointed and totally broken

Stink Child Comics

I finished this for roughly one week ago, but I didn't like it so I never posted it. I made some changes today, like re-color it and changed Sloan's elbows, which were justifiably critiqued before, but it's still not perfect. But I give up.

Like bringing a knife to a gunfight

This is what my sister-in-law might call flith. But it's not my fault, Mike put my up to this. No, really... really! HE REALLY DID. I have nothing to do with this.

Yes. That's Pizza Girl and Pie Bandit. Obviously. Click for dA. This is for you, Michael.

I've realized that I work best if I listen to utter chaos, btw. It's easier to concentrate that way.

Color is black, is white, is color blind.

Now why didn't I think of SCANNING before?

Still looks better IRL though. And even though this is by no means perfect (I see the same errors you do, trust me), this is still my favorite so far. I really like painting. But it's hard to sketch with lead pretty on the watercolour paper. Oh well.

Oh, and I totally meant to paint that pink spot in the right hand corner. It's the finishing touch.

Ensam är stark - vilket jävla skitsnack

Try number 2. Once again, it DOES look better IRL x) (IT'S SERIOUSLY IMPOSSIBLE TO TAKE GOOD PICTURES YOU GUYS) I tried a different approach here, and actually inked the lines as usual, and then colored it. That way, the line art didn't keep smudging into the color. I really like the color on this one too, it's much more defined and rich, and the skin color looks like actual skin color. Which is a plus.

I'd rather pee than write blog titles

This is my first painting ever with this type of colour, which I'm not sure what it's called. Watercolour, I guess... but in tubes. It's weird, really. And hard to use. I much prefer it over regular watercolour though.

I thought while taking the photos, that I wouldn't write what everyone seems to write, which is "it looks better in reality". Cause I really thought the photos turned out nice. They didn't.

Seriously. It really does look better in reality.

I thank you for this pen and ink ammunition

I think this picture pretty much explains itself. Click for fullview.
