I drew this a couple of days ago, as a continue of my practice with a more realistic style, in ink. It's Mike's birthday today, so I thought it fitting that it'd be posted today. It's not much, and it's certainly not the best so far, but I still think I'm learning.

I was gonna drew more Twitter-people and friends, but I've only done random stuff. So that's what you get today.



The man was just me trying to draw something more realistic without looking at a photo reference. And I made a more cartoonie version next to him.

More ink sketches today, I'm doing one every night for practice. Cause I DO need the practice.

I wanted to draw people I know more, so I started with Bob. If it wasn't for the fact that he's twice as fat as in real life, this would've been a good drawing.



Damn that annoys me.

It's better I guess. There's always a few things that bugs me, but once it's inked I can't really do anything about it.

Third attempt at this. I don't ink using brush and liquid ink, so the hair got really redundant. I ended up just blocking in where all the black should be, basically.
