Lay waste to the kings here

I told Skwerl I wouldn't post this.

I guess I lied.

Come now sleep

Sunday's mom:

Lemme give you a short list of things I can't seem to draw:
  1. Anatomy
  2. Hands
  3. Feet

2 and 3 goes hand in hand with 1. Why are feet so hard? I don't know, but they just are.

I have the power of a million exploding suns

Sunday all day, everyday. This time it's front view. Very rough.

Honestly, I really feel that drawing someone looking straight into the "camera” is the hardest angle. If the symmetry is just off by a few pixels, it'll look weird.

Tripp trapp trull, du föll omkull

Traced the face of my previous sketch of Sunday and tried out lots and lots of expressions, that I could come up with. I didn't use any references (although I obviously ripped of the Awesome-face - for the lulz).

Lazy Sunday

Yet another sketch of Sunday, this one's REALLY rough. I use a lot of construction lines while sketching, which I keep erasing as I go along. You can still see a lot of them in this sketch though. I used the 3-quarter sketch as a template, to get the proportions right on this one.

Bloody Sunday

Another sketch of the little girl, who I like to call "Sunday". She has a magnifying glass and a robotic arm. Oh yes.

Stephen Silver is my prophet

I just sat around doing simple sketches, and "accidentally" drew Kim Possible. It's really sketchy, and nowhere near perfect. I just drew, without really caring about proportions (Heh, like I ever care about that anyways...)

Cute gone bad part 2

Done with the Bad Ass Mother Cutie:

I think I prefer the uncolored version (I usually do). I'm not the best colorist, I guess.

I'm using this Friday to draw btw. Gonna finish the drawings that I need to finish, the Phischman-cover in particular.

Cute gone bad

This was originally going to be the same girl I did the last Sunday. But I wanted to try and go simpler, in the veins of McCracken, and try and do a face that's made up by just a circle. And I ended up with a very cute girl.

When I got to drawing the body, I thought to myself: "I LOVE stuff that's both cute AND brutal".

So I gave her two big guns.

I might ink and color this later. We'll see.

Do I look like I give a damn?

I started doing a Craig-Bond, but now I'm not sure if I want to finish it. Made some greyscale shading on the sketch, for the heck of it.

For all of Sunday to see

Sunday

Some character design for a little something I might make sometime. I hope I will.

I'm afraid she looks a bit much like Annarchy from Penny Arcade. I need to change that until the next sketch.

Oh. It's a cat.

Done with the Aeris picture I posted before.

You wouldn't get this from any other guy

The latest strip over at Glitchtown featured some pretty nice and interesting artwork, that I'm actually quite proud of. However, I felt that the second panel, with the three frames of flashbacks, got a little crammed in there, so here's a bigger picture, without the text:

Bitch be trippin' balls

Working on some fanart for VGcats.

Jupp, it's Aeris. I really like Scott Ramsoomair's artstyle, it's cute, silly, clean, manga-ish and just flat out great.

I'll post the finished picture later (i.e. when it's done).

IMMA DUMPIN MAH ART

I'm just gonna start by dumping a lot of drawings and sketches. Some old, some new. Some published elsewhere, some never seen before.

Leela from Futurama. You probably recognize her.

Blossom from The Powerpuff Girls. 'Cept she's got no arms. Or legs. I really like drawing different characters from different styles, in my own style.

Talked about the epic fight that is Superman vs. Son Goku, on Twitter, and ended up drawing Superman. Kurt of Cyberwasteland then asked me to draw Goku too - and that's what I did.

I tried sketching Gordon Freeman, again (I've drawn him several times before so...)

And that last one is obviously Frankie from Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends (I'm sure you can tell by now that I really like Craig McCracken).

I also did some fanart for Sister Claire recently. Go check it out!

Stupid. But clever.

At first I thought about writing something witty and funny in this first post, to start off this awesome interblawg, and kinda work in who I am and what this blog is about in that text.

But then I realised I’m not witty. Or funny. At all. And I can’t write.

So I’ll just flat out say it. The name's Rasmus Pettersson, you may know me. I draw a comic that nobody reads. You should go read that. Also, I’m Swedish. And modest too.

And this is my sketch blog - among other things. I'll make stuff up as we go along.

Enjoy.
